Two-Ingredient Chocolate Cake (Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free & Sugar-Free)

Yields1 Serving

Two-Ingredient Chocolate Cake Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free & Sugar-Free

5 Small sweet apples (or 4 Ripe pears if you want to mix it up!)
 275 g Dark 60% + Chocolate
1

Peel, core and cut the apples into chunks. Boil them for about 15 minutes or until soft, then drain thoroughly. Alternatively, you can bake whole apples at 350°F (175°C) for around 30 minutes for an even sweeter flavour. Once cooked, mash the apples into a smooth purée.

2

Gently melt your chocolate using a double boiler, stirring in between to avoid burning.

3

Place the mashed apples and melted chocolate in a blender or food processor. Blend until you achieve a smooth, glossy mixture.

4

Pour the mixture into a 6” cake mould lined with parchment paper. Place it in the fridge overnight to set it completely. If your fridge isn’t super cold, you can use the freezer to speed up the process.

5

Once set, slice and serve! A little goes a long way with this rich, decadent treat.

This cake proves that less is more—minimal ingredients, maximum flavour. Try it out and see why it’s become a favourite for so many! ❤️
